individuals who are not mandated by occupation to report.
Effective August 28, 2004, Missouri law requires Mandated Reporters
to identify themselves when making a report.

DIG-RITE
If you plan any excavation, from digging in your own yard to a commercial project, Missouri law requires that you notify Missouri One Call System. Call 8-1-1 or 1-800-DIG-RITE (344-7483). Many utility lines are located underground and out of sight. Digging carelessly can cause disruption of vital utility services and environmental damage, or even loss of life.

We do NOT accept electronics, such as T.V.'s, computers, printers, etc.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT TIRES.
There is a drop off fee for appliances,
$10.00 fee for washers, dryers, water heaters, stoves, and grills
$15.00 fee for all makes/models of refrigerators.
Pricing can change daily due to market values.
Household Hazardous Waste Center
Independence residents can dispose of paint, oil, batteries and toxic waste,
by making an appointment by telephone.

No fee - auto, boat, lawnmower, motorcycle
